Chambers Bank, formerly the Danville State Bank, was formed on October 7, 1930 by Judge John E. Chambers. We opened after the stock market crash of 1929, when Danville Arkansas' only bank was forced to shut down. Businesses were paralyzed and Judge John E. Chambers knew that the situation needed correction. The bank started with a capital stock of $25,000.
In November 2008, Chambers Bank merged with Chambers Bank of North Arkansas and today, Chambers Bank has over 20 locations in Arkansas and over 150 employees. No matter how many branches we add or how many communities we touch, Chambers Bank will never lose its commitment to its customers. We are one of the few, continuously family owned banks. We strive to provide the most advanced, convenient services available today, while maintaining high standards of customer service. For 80 years,
we are the bank interested in you and your community.
