Chambers Bank, formerly
the Danville State Bank, was formed on October 7, 1930 by Judge John E. Chambers.
We opened after the stock market crash of 1929, when Danville’s
only bank was forced to shut down. Businesses were paralyzed and Judge John E.
Chambers knew that the situation needed correction. The bank started with a
capital stock of $25,000.
Today,
Chambers Bank has 13 locations across West and West Central Arkansas and over 110
employees. No matter how many branches we add or how many communities we touch,
Chambers Bank will never lose its commitment to its customers. We are one of the
few, continuously family owned banks. We strive to provide the most advanced,
convenient services available today, while maintaining high standards of
customer service. For 75 years. we are the bank interested in you and your community.
